53-Day Meet at Lone Star Park in 2012

The Texas Racing Commission has approved a 53-day meet for Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie for 2012. The track raced 52 days in 2011.
The 2012 spring Thoroughbred season will run from April 12 through July 8, with racing on a Thursday through Sunday schedule, with the exception of Thursday, July 5. There will also be live racing on Monday, Memorial Day, May 28, and Wednesday, July 4.
