ValueCapper 2.4.1 and Black Magic 1.4.1 Released

Today we are releasing ValueCapper 2.4.1 and Black Magic 1.4.1.

Track Performance Par updates

Both ValueCapper and Black Magic include a handful of Track Performance Par updates:

  • HCN and LEG: we now have pars for these new Nebraska tracks.
  • KD: the new pars at Kentucky Downs should now provide Master Pace ratings which are more in line with other turf courses.
  • GrP: Grant's Pass ratings should no longer have asterisks.
  • A small number of updated surface/distance combinations at GP and Cnl where we now have larger sample sizes to generate pars.

ValueCapper

ValueCapper also includes a new addition to the Track Profiles: instead of specifying a date range, you now have the option to specify a number of races. Traditionally, the Track Profiles feature expects you to enter a Start Date and End Date; race results are then loaded based on this date range. If there have not been many races recently run, then the Track Profile will be sparse. Now, you can specify a fixed number of race -- for example, 10 -- and Track Profiles will list 10 races, regardless of when those races were run:

Bug Fixes

Both ValueCapper and Black Magic also include a few minor bug fixes.
