You will normally not need to worry about your Black Magic configuration files. However, in the event that a config file has been corrupted, or if you wish to copy your configuration to a new PC, here is how to locate these files:
- Open the Windows File Explorer.
- On the left, select "This PC".
- Select the "C:" drive. It may be named "Windows" or similar.
- "Drill down" (by double-clicking or opening each folder, going down one level at a time) into the following folder path:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Value_Tech_Inc\BlackMagic.exeStrongNameabunchofstrangelettersandnumbers
If you are copying configuration to a new PC, simply copy the files in the BlackMagic.exeStrongNameabunchofstrangelettersandnumbers folder to the same location on your new PC, using a USB thumbdrive or network share.
If you are having trouble running BLAM on your current PC, and suspect that it may be due to a corrupt configuration file, please do the following:
- Close Black Magic, if it is running.
- Delete the folder called BlackMagic.exeStrongNameabunchofstrangelettersandnumbers.
- Start Black Magic.
