Michael Pizzolla's 2013 Breeders' Cup ValueCapping™ Rant

in Articles, Breeders' Cup, ValueCapping by Michael Pizzolla 3 Comments

Well, it's that time of year again, time for the Breeders' Cup races. The 2013 edition looks to be a good one, with the usual handicapping and ValueCapping challenges with large fields, odd distances, and horses making their first starts in the U.S. I've made a video for you with some pointers on what our big advantage is in this great game, and advice on how to handle 'big days' such as the Breeders' Cup and Kentucky Derby. There's also some information on odds lines and randomness-it's amazing to me how many otherwise astute handicappers are not fully conversant with these concepts. Most of the video is a 'look over my shoulder' video, where I take you through my analysis of the Breeders' Cup 2013 races as I ValueCapped them using Black Magic: The Ultimate Handicapper Software. I hope you enjoy. And good luck at Breeders' Cup and always!
