From Del Mar — Hell hath no fury like a jockey scorned. Which brings us to a horse race Sunday at Del Mar.
Early in the card, at the place where the turf meets the surf and they play a lot of Bing Crosby music to commemorate that, a jockey named Mike Smith will climb aboard a horse named Joker Face. At the same time, a jockey named Chantal Sutherland will get a leg up on a horse named Parable.
