The East Boston oval celebrated its 75th anniversary yesterday, with a full racing card, including a pair of $75,000 stakes races, along with a celebration of the track’s best years, featuring displays of antique cars, a Dixieland band, a carousel, and carnival games. A fellow in knickers and a newsboy cap handed out race programs, and cigarette girls with bright red lipstick and swank ’30s-style uniforms carried trays full of bubblegum cigars, offering, “Wanna free cigahh?’’
