Still a good turnout…
Attendance, handle down slightly on Breeders’ Cup Friday
Coming off a year of record attendance and handle, those figures dipped slightly following Friday’s card of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
A crowd of 40,677 turned out for Friday’s card, down slightly from the 41,614 who attended last year’s Breeders’ Cup Friday card.
Greeted by temperatures in the low 50s, grey, cloudy skies, and spotty rain early in the card, warm sun and clear skies took over by the middle of the day’s program.
