Belmont Park track is sloppy early Saturday morning

ELMONT, N.Y. – Light rain is falling, and the track is sloppy at Belmont Park at 7:34 a.m. EDT, about 11 hours before the Belmont Stakes will be run.
The National Weather Service forecast says there’s a 50 percent chance of rain today. It’s too early to tell if there will be an off track for the race.
