Gov. Chris Christie on Thursday approved landmark deals that will turn the state-owned Monmouth Park and Meadowlands Racetrack over to private management. If the deal is endorsed by the local horsemen’s association, billionaire developer Morris Bailey is expected to begin running Monmouth Park on June 1.
