Although Tropical Storm Irene has left the area, several East Coast tracks are still impacted by the storm that began as a hurricane and was later downgraded before rolling through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Citing a power outage resulting from the storm, Suffolk Downs has also canceled its Aug. 29 and Aug. 30 cards. The track is also closed for simulcasting.

Delaware Park had already announced there would be no live racing for both Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 29-30 due to a lack of entries resulting from the storm. Racing is scheduled to resume Aug. 31, with a 1:15 p.m. first race post.
