Owner Mike Repole will consult with a trio of veterinarians plus trainer Todd Pletcher before deciding whether champion Uncle Mo will start on Saturday in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (G1).

Uncle Mo has jogged twice since having his final Derby workout on Sunday, and Repole has said throughout the week that the Indian Charlie colt is only “50-50” to start in the classic. Uncle Mo suffered his first defeat when third as the 1-to-10 favorite in the Resorts World New York Casino Wood Memorial Stakes (G1) on April 9 at Aqueduct.
